The Pueblo research notes that YOS was not reported in public monthly population and capacity reports in the same way as other prison facilities. A 2025 audit cited an internal April 8, 2025 YOS population figure of 197. Youthful Offender System Address and Contact

YOS mail and money procedures follow CDOC rules. Mail should identify the person by name and DOC number. CDOC inmates cannot receive incoming phone calls, but they may place outgoing calls to approved phone-list contacts. Deposits are made through CDOC-approved deposit partners instead of county jail accounts.

The Pueblo research lists JPay, Western Union, and GTL as CDOC deposit partners. It also notes that cash and money orders by mail are not accepted.
